This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy (Website & App). In case of conflict, the terms of the document that specifically governs the subject matter shall prevail.
This Subscription, Refund and Renewal Policy ("Policy") applies to all subscriptions and purchases of Services offered through the Website. By purchasing a subscription or any Services, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service ("ToS").
We may offer trial access to all or certain Services, which may be provided either free of charge or for a nominal fee.
If a trial is offered, the relevant terms will be clearly disclosed on the paywall or checkout screen, including the duration of the trial and the regular subscription price that will apply after the trial period if the trial converts into a paid subscription.
Unless you cancel the trial before it expires, your Payment Method will be automatically charged the regular subscription price indicated on the paywall screen, and your subscription will continue on a recurring basis until canceled.
All purchased Services will be delivered and/or made accessible to you electronically (including, where applicable, as downloadable files) via the interface through which you completed the purchase, unless otherwise specified in the terms applicable to your purchase.
Upon reaching the paywall, you may select and purchase available Services, including subscription plans and any available trial offers, as well as one-time Digital Items, using your chosen Payment Method (as defined below).
The applicable price, quantity, subscription duration, renewal conditions, cancellation conditions, and any usage limitations for each type of Service will be clearly displayed at the point of purchase.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled and authorize us to charge your Payment Method for renewal charges or any other applicable fees owed to us.
We are not responsible for, and assume no liability arising from, payment processing errors that may occur when using third-party platforms (such as PayPal) to complete a subscription purchase. You should review the applicable terms and conditions of any third-party platform before making a purchase.
Certain subscription plans may include, or we may separately offer for purchase, one-time, non-recurring digital content, features, or services ("Digital Items").
Digital Items cannot be sold separately from a subscription plan and may only be accessed and used while you maintain an active subscription, unless expressly stated otherwise at the point of purchase.
You may purchase available Digital Items using your selected Payment Method.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, unused Digital Items are not subject to unclaimed property, escheatment, or similar laws.
Our current fees, including subscription plans, are displayed on the Website (paywall section).
All prices are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. Applicable sales or use taxes will be added to your purchase price where required by law, based on your billing address and applicable local regulations.
If we are required to collect taxes in your jurisdiction, the applicable tax amount will be calculated and displayed at checkout or included in your receipt. The final amount charged may be adjusted in response to changes in applicable tax laws or tax rates.
If you subscribe to our Services, access to the Services will continue only if the subscription remains active.
Unless canceled in accordance with Section 7 below, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period for the same duration and at the then-current full subscription price applicable to your selected plan.
If your initial subscription was provided through a trial offer, it will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the price disclosed to you at checkout, as described in Section 2 above.
Where required by applicable law, we will send you a clear renewal reminder before your subscription starts and/or renews. Such notice will specify:
When you purchase your subscription through the Website, your Payment Method will be charged for the renewal once the current billing period ends, unless the subscription has been canceled in accordance with Section 7 below.
If our initial attempt to process the renewal payment is unsuccessful, we may use a retry billing mechanism for a limited period (generally up to seven (7) days). You authorize us to make up to three (3) automated retry attempts during this period.
The retry attempts may be processed at reduced prices as follows:
The reduced retry prices do not affect the scope, duration, or functionality of the Services and do not constitute a permanent or generally applicable price reduction.
If all retry attempts are unsuccessful, your subscription will automatically terminate, and access to the Services will end at the conclusion of the current paid billing period.
We disclose this mechanism so that you are aware that your Payment Method may be charged multiple times within a short retry period if an initial renewal charge fails, and that such retry attempts may, in some cases, be made at a reduced price to allow continuation of your subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account at https://pay.the-star-sense.com navigating to Settings, and clicking the Cancel button; or contacting our support team at [email protected].
Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access to the Services until that time.
Processing of cancellation requests may take up to three (3) hours. However, your cancellation will be deemed effective as of the time the request is submitted. Accordingly, you will not be charged for any renewal that occurs after the time your cancellation request is submitted.
Upon your written request, we will issue a refund within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the relevant charge, unless a longer period is required under applicable law. Refund requests submitted after this period will not be granted.
Incomplete requests may delay processing. We may request additional information to verify the request and prevent fraud.
Approved refunds will be processed using the original Payment Method within a reasonable period of time.
In jurisdictions where failure to provide legally required renewal notices renders a subscription an "unconditional gift" or otherwise grants consumers refund rights (including certain EU Member States and U.S. states), we will comply with all applicable notice obligations. Where such obligations are not met, you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived or limited under applicable law.
